What You’ll Be Doing:

As a CDL Class A Truck Driver with SALEM READY MIX, you’ll be at the wheel of our fleet, delivering excellence with every mile. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing daily safety inspections on our tractor-trailers, ensuring they meet DOT standards.
• Operating class B and class A tractor-trailer combinations, ranging from 25 to 53 feet in length, in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Maintaining E Logs and IFTA Reports with precision and accuracy.
• Ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly distributed and returned to the shipping coordinator at each destination.
• Conducting maintenance and service on semi-trailers and trucks to keep our fleet running smoothly.
• Exceeding customer expectations with your above-average customer relations skills.
• Assisting the team with any other duties as assigned, because teamwork makes the dream work!

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid Class A or B CDL and DOT medical card.
• A passion for exceeding customers’ expectations, because that’s what sets us apart.
• General mechanical skills to handle maintenance and service tasks as needed.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, because there’s always room to grow.
• Experience with oversized loads is preferred, but not essential.
• Ideally, 2-5 years of experience in the field, but we’re open to driven individuals looking to make their mark.
